Can I attend a class if my body is tight, and I have no flexibility?

Yoga does not require flexibility whatsoever. In class you will learn tools and techniques no matter where you’re at to educate yourself to move with awareness and safety.

What if I’m a real beginner. Is a class the right fit for me?

Absolutely. Yoga is for everyone and they're different level of classes for each person. This is the first step to begin a practice and then to find the right teacher and method that aligns with your way of moving and thinking.

If I have injuries, should I go to a class?

Yes and always inform your teacher of your injury before class so he/she can advice you best. I would make sure the method/style of class will best support your process in healing. If the injury is very specific, I recommend investing in private sessions to learn, grow and heal to then bring your awareness back to class, so you can apply what you’ve learned with confidence.

Can yoga be beneficial when your life is busy?

Hatha yoga is an excellent addition to refine focus, support calmness & balance, build self esteem & empowerment and facilitates a deep sense of self to just name a few. A consistent practice will maintain these qualities to make this a life style choice to bring more equanimity, presence and grace in your life. It will create a relationship between body and mind so that they can engage more cohesively.

If I am pregnant should I attend regular classes or only prenatal yoga classes?

If you have an established practice before pregnancy, I would recommend either. If you are just beginning your practice at pregnancy I suggest a prenatal class. It is important to understand the changes of your body during pregnancy and what poses & breath exercises that are contradictory. After that, listening to your body closely will determine whether basic/beginner classes are appropriate for you.
