Yoga Is An Everyday Ritual
A CHOICE AND TOOL TO CONNECT WITH ONESELF AND LIFE
The choice is the courage to discover the implicit terrain - you. To learn and grow so that in time we return to our highest nature - our knowing self. It is from there that we reach our deepest understanding of our connectivity, that we are not alone, but a part of something greater and revolutionary.
The tools of yoga are the techniques we learn to cultivate power, joy and presence in the body mind and breath. These tools are what support the journey to a fulfilling and meaningful life. Our every day lives demand much from us and those tasks can pull us away from our connections.
Practices are here to teach us to turn inward. When we take care of our inner worlds and begin to heal the trauma of our circumstances, we can return to our ourselves and our communities with love and compassion.
Yoga is a portal into empowerment. It fosters steadfastness and strength, courage and forward action. Most importantly, it brings you back to your autonomy and agency, to live life from the lens of responsibility and accountability. A resolution into owning our lives to our fullest with grace and effort.

Dynamic Longevity
A Weekend of the Fundamentals of Katonah Yoga®
June 6 - 8, 2025
Join Chase Connolly and Cari Friedman for a weekend of Katonah yoga®. No matter where you are in your yoga journey, techniques for longevity and engaging with the practice in a dynamic, well-rounded way are always worthwhile. Over this weekend-long training, you will be immersed in metaphor and imagination to broaden your frame of reference for yoga and develop an engaging experience of embodiment. We will start by learning the foundational maps of Katontah Yoga®, which explore the mechanics of physical postures, the Taoist philosophy of the energetic body, personal narratives, and much more.
